Backups you can trust, and a plan to get back up fast.
A backup only matters if it works when you need it. I set up automatic backups, check them regularly, and make sure you know exactly how to recover.
- Automated backups
- Test restores
- Recovery plan
What’s included
Everything involved in protecting your data and recovering it quickly.
Computer & laptop backup
Important files on staff devices protected automatically, wherever people work.
Server backup
Full backups of servers so a failure doesn’t mean starting from scratch.
Microsoft 365 & Google backup
Separate backups of email, files and shared drives in your cloud accounts.
Offsite copy
A copy stored away from your office so one disaster can’t take everything.
Test restores
Regular checks that files and systems can actually be recovered.
Monitoring & alerts
Failed or missed backups are caught and fixed, not discovered during an emergency.
Ransomware-resistant copies
Copies kept separate and protected so attackers can’t easily delete them.
Retention planning
Agreeing how far back you can recover, such as yesterday, last month or last year.
Recovery plan
A short written guide covering priorities, contacts and steps to get working again.

Review
We list what data matters most and how quickly you need it back after a problem.
Set up
I configure automatic backups with a local and offsite copy and turn on alerts.
Test and report
I run regular test restores and keep you informed, so you know it works.
Backup & recovery questions
Straight answers before you get in touch.
Doesn’t Microsoft 365 or Google already back up my data?
They keep their service running, but that isn’t the same as a separate backup against accidental deletion, ransomware or mistakes. A separate backup is the safer approach.
How often are backups tested?
I recommend regular test restores and agree a schedule that suits your business.
How long would recovery take?
It depends on how much data you have and what failed. We agree recovery targets up front and plan around them.
Can you recover from ransomware?
With clean, separate backups, usually yes. That’s why I keep copies that attackers can’t easily reach.
